10 Foods you always find in my kitchen

Hello everyone 🙂

This post is going to be about the 10 foods you will always find in my kitchen. For me having healthy food at home is essential as I really like to eat at home majority of the time 🙂

All this foods are relatively cheap & simple to prepare 🙂 I always try to keep it simple & don’t spend too much money on fancy stuff.

Top 10 foods:

Whole Wheat Pasta

Who doesn’t love Pasta.. 😉 I love it specially with Tomato sauce or my creamy Cauliflower Sauce!! Just too delicious

Whole Wheat Flour

The best thing to make your own pastries!! I love all things Bread and make Pancakes almost daily 🙂 really good choice if you want it a bit healthier & still super delicious

Oatmeal

Even tho I am not the typical Oatmeal girl i still love my Oats!! I love to make chocolate Oatmeal if i have cravings or eat it with fruit & I need them to make my Pancakes.. 😀 Also you can make badass Cookies & Granola out of it to surprise your friends & family 🙂

Apples 

I simply love apples and eat them daily, definitely my type of fast food and favorite snack 🙂

Frozen Broccoli & Frozen Spinach

Broccoli & Spinach, my all time favorite greens! again, one of the things i love and eat almost daily 😛

I love to buy frozen veggies just because they are so quickly done & easy to prepare 🙂

Mushrooms

Mushrooms are one of the things I really hated my entire childhood 😀 Nowadays i love Mushrooms!! All kinds of them 🙂 they are definitely my kind of „meat replacement“, high in proteins, fibers, vitamins & minerals. I only eat my mushrooms cooked since raw Mushrooms contain Toxins.*

Cooked Mushrooms are extremely healthy for us, helping with cancer prevention, inflammation etc. One of the foods I try to eat daily 🙂

Potatoes

Yes.. as you probably seen already on Instagram, i love potatoes!! For sure one of my favorite Carb Sources 🙂 Potatoes are so good  for you! and when prepared as fries super delicious!!

Sweet Potatoes

Lol, yes again very basic 🙂 i love sweet potatoes!!! I love to bake them whole for 1 hour and then eat them, just so juicy and sweet, for me one of the most satisfying things ever!!

… did you know, people in Okinawa which are the longest living population in the world eat most of their calories from Sweet Potatoes 🙂

Frozen Berries

Yes i buy Berries frozen, I love Berries!! all kind of them, usually fresh berries are really expensive & go bad very quickly, to avoid waisting I buy frozen 🙂 I like to put them into my oatmeal, add them to salads, eat them heated over Pancakes etc.

Onions & Garlic

I looove Onions & Garlic!! Pancakes are probably the only thing i prepare without them 😀 I really add them to everything & can never have too much garlic.

All of this foods are extremely healthy for you 🙂  To add variety i like to add fresh, seasonal fruits & veggies that I shop on my local market.

I also buy a lot of „second choice“ vegetables, which are not the prettiest but taste the same and are usually a lot cheaper 🙂
