1.How tall & old are you? 🙂
I am 1,79m tall and 23 Years old. ( My birthday is in october 🙂 )
2. What has motivated you to become vegan? Special Documentaries, books?
I came to the Vegan diet through the Cookbook Author Attila Hildmann & working in an organic Store. A lot of People told me about their lifestyle changes and how much better they feel now. I started to inform myself about vegan diets, read books like Peace Food & the China Study & watched Documentaries like Forks over Knives, the health benefits motivated me the most to start this lifestyle. Now since i have been doing this for some years, i also did a lot of research how our environment & animals benefit from this lifestyle it just feels natural to keep it. 🙂
3. Do you have some tips for people that want to try a vegan lifestyle? 🙂
Yeees. First of all don’t stress yourself too much. Nobody has to be perfect here, specially not in the beginning!! I would probably make a list with the meals i love creating natural plantbased, like Potato fries & salad, Pasta with Tomato Sauce, Bruschetta, Thai Curry, Indian food etc. and always look at the list when feeling hungry so you never feel deprived. 🙂
Also making one change at a time, first of all eat a vegan breakfast, then try incorporating more vegan lunches & then dinners just as you feel like it always with the motto: EVERY MEAL COUNTS 😉
4. What are your favorite documentaries about Veganism?
My favorite documentaries are:
-> What the Health – Health benefits & of a vegan diet, and general infos about healthy diets, lots of awesome doctors featured
-> Cowspiracy – how food affects the health of our planet!!! LIFE CHANGING documentary!!
-> Food Choices – great Documentary about healthy diets, veganism etc. :))
5. Do you have any Tips for people that want to loose weight on a plant based diet?
Anyone trying to loose weight has probably heard about the benefits of a Vegan diet. Healthy Vegan foods ( talking fruits & veggies) are generally packed with fiber & water so generally tend to be lower in calories than most animals products. What i find really helpful is to keep an eye on the fat content of your foods. I feel my best & leanest when following a LOW FAT PLANT BASED DIET getting most of my calories from vegetables & starches like potatoes & Sweet potatoes. Oats & other wholegrain products, beans and fruits are also great to bring in some more variety.
I would recommend stop using Oils and Isolated fat sources, make sure to fill your plate half with non – starchy veggies (cucumbers, tomatoes, broccoli etc) & half with starches for best weight loss and snack/ desert some fruits like Oranges, Berries or Apples. Diet is way more important than exercise when it comes to loosing weight.
Again, i’m not talking about portion control here, eat as much non starchy veggies as you like ( 1kg or more non starchy veggies a day) plus as much starches as you feel like. (greatly depending on your activity levels, your hunger will naturally decrease if you overate one day)

6. Do you eat Nuts, Seeds & Avocados?
I personally don’t feel great eating a lot of nuts & seeds and absolutely can’t stand Avocados. My skin tends to break out, i get digestive issues and i feel more tired/ sluggish after meals when i eat more fats. Thats why i prefer to stick to more healthy Carbs instead and keep my fat intake really low. 🙂
7. What is your favorite Food?
My favorite food of all times are probably Steamed DUMPLINGS & vegan thick crust Pizza with lots of Onions & Tomatosauce 😛 aaaaand i love sweet potatoes & potato fries, they are my favorite homemade meal!!! I also really really love to eat big ass salads with veggies like Broccoli & Spinach in them ❤ with a side of vegan sushi & white rice in general 😛 And bread!! I love Bread like Ciabatta & Sourdough Bread & bread rolls!!! so i love basically all kind of Carbs i guess 😀 ❤
8. What are your favorite vegan beauty products/ brands?
My favorite Make up Products are from Dr. Hauschka, they have amazing Powders & Rouges, so no need for any non Vegan stuff here. They are using only natural, organic products & none of them are tested on animals! I also love and have products from Annemarie Börlind, Sante & Weleda, all only using organic ingredients.
I also like to use raw extra virgin coconut oil, i get mine at my local organic store – no need to buy a cosmetic oil here in my opinion. Coconut oil works great as natural hair treatment, on dry skin, as make up remover etc. 🙂
9. Do you have any Siblings / Animals? 🙂
I do have one brother, he is 2 years older than me 🙂
As a child i used to have Rabbits, and as i became older we got a dog. He was a black Labrador called Max. 🙂 Max was following a mostly vegan diet too, hehe (my soulmate, he got 14 years old) ❤ So nowadays i don’t have a pet, but definitely looking forward getting a dog again after i finished my studies.
10. Whats your favorite Music?
I’m not really having a favorite Band or something, i like listening to Eminem, Rihanna & Justin Timberlake when working out, love listening to Adele & old Christina Aguilera Songs when in the Shower, Nina Simone & Norah Jones when i need a good mood, Electro & House when with friends & Classical Music specially Ludovico Einaudi while studying. 🙂
